We are planning to sail from Denmark to China next year 2008 from February 1st to August 1st via Suez around India passing Singapore to Hong Kong and Beijing. We are sailing with a new rebuild old sailing ship/tall ship, “LOA” www.loa.dk with a speed of approx. 4 knots in general. Is it possible only with six months and do you have alternative suggestions to our route?

You need to wait in Djibouti until the NE monsoon in N. Indian Ocean changes to SW monsoon. If you are lucky and it happens in April, you can just about make to China by early August.
