We are in Pt. Montt Chile making our way home to Victoria, Canada. What would be the most direct route with the best winds?

That’s an easy one as I sailed more or less the same route myself, from Valdivia to Vancouver in my 43 ft Aventura.

In your case, I advise you to take a shorter route: Chile – Easter Island – Marquesas – Hawaii – British Columbia (may have to skirt the Pacific High to go around its western edge… or motor through it if you are in a hurry).
