Reported First Person to Noonsite by SV Malaika.

On May 1, 2022  at about 8.30 in the morning, the owner left his 10′ AB rib with Yamaha outboard motor (which was locked to the transom) tied to the Union Jack dock.

When he returned two hours later, it was gone. One hour later, with the help of another cruiser, the dinghy was found about 500 metres from where it went missing.

It had been hauled onto a rocky shore and the large bar lock had been pried off the outboard which was stolen. The dinghy, fuel tank and anchor were left. Two handles were torn from dinghy and the fiberglass hull was found to be cracked in two places.

A report was made to the local police.
