Washing machine and dryer are available (for a fee payable via the GoMarina terminal or app) in the adjacent service building - See the Port of Longyearbyen Google Map. Mary-Ann’s Polarrigg and ISS in Longyearbyen also offer laundry services in town.
There is a well-stocked supermarket in the commercial center, with fresh produce flown from the mainland. Costs are higher, especially for fresh goods, but most things are available and it is possible to fully provision. There are several cafes, bakeries, restaurants and pubs.
Wine and beer are available, at the Nordpolet Svalbard, and are significantly cheaper than on the mainland. Quotas apply for how much beer, strong wine and liquor you can buy per month.
