Staying in Isafjordur for a year now ; there is a project of expanding the docking capacities in the inner harbour, for yachts.
Electricity supply is limited to 8 boats (plugs) on the pontoon.
There can be some ice into the inner harbour during cold winters, who can lock the boats into the harbour.
There is absolutely no facilities for liveaboards, no Wi-Fi, no showers, no self laundry (never existed), but there is a project, slowly going on.
Lots of technical and logistic facilities exists, it is possible to haul out boats for hull painting and annual maintenance.
There is no fiberglass repair capacities, and no sailmaker, repair. No real shipchandler, but many shops sell fishing boats supplies, which can be used.
Very good harbour, good base for wintering and sailing around the Westfjords and East Greenland.
