Prior to Arrival:

All vessels heading to Tonga must complete the Tonga Customs Advance Notice of Arrival (small craft) form.

The form can be submitted by fax or email at least 24 hours in advance of arrival in Tonga. If this is not possible, a phone call to explain your circumstances is required.

Phone: +676 23 651

Fax: +676 24124

This new process is strictly enforced.

On Arrival in Tongan Waters:

Skippers must also contact Maritime Radio on VHF Channel 16 prior to arrival in the selected port of entry, to update Customs on your estimated time of arrival.
