McMurdo has issued a service bulletin for the following products:

• McMurdo SmartFind EPIRB – All Versions
• Kannad Marine EPIRB, Sport/Sport Pro/Sport Pro +

The top dome under certain circumstances may begin to show signs of localized craze cracking. Small cracks may appear to be radiating out from the three over molded screw inserts.

If you have one of the products you may wish to inspect it and be sure you have confidence in the integrity and safety of your unit.
