Niue Yacht Club is known as the “Biggest Little Yacht Club in the World – where no one owns a yacht or knows how to sail!”

The Niue Yacht Club facilities and the moorings are situated on the western side of the island near the main wharf and settlement of Alofi.

There are 15 moorings available to use and there is a charge for use of the moorings – see the docking page. for more details. NYC makes a payment to the Government for the services they provide on the wharf; an electric winch for lifting tenders out while ashore (a 3 point bridle needed), safe drinking water available at the base of the electric winch.

The Yacht Club now has new premises on the cliff tops overlooking the mooring field with an upgraded BBQ and outside shade seating areas which has been provided with assistance from Niue Tourism.  There is also a new ablutions block above the wharf which is a welcome addition to the club’s assets.
