Located on the south side of citadel next to Garitsas Bay, the harbour is protected from the south by an L-shaped breakwater. Be careful as this harbour is shallow, maximum depths 2.5-3m. Moor stern or bows-to on the eastern end of the breakwater quay, where there are several laid moorings in depths of 3.0 metres. There is reported to be no water or electricity here, and very basic showers and toilets. Water and fuel can be delivered by tanker, although service not very reliable. Wifi. Café. Shelter is good but this harbour should be avoided in strong winds from the south. Good location close to town. Marina office open on limited hours. Noisy bar and nightclub on site. Take care with large old chain on harbour floor that can snag anchor chains.
