Pulled in today after 5 day run from Cabo on an 80 foot Outer Reef Yacht. Called yacht club by phone liking for transient dock for one night. Informed office we were Seattle Yacht Club which they confirmed reciprocity. The yacht club could only accommodate us in a 35′ deep anchorage. As I have 400′ of chain, not a problem. We could tender to use facilities. So out front of club we float calling on VHF for yacht club to show us to their club anchorage. No joy. After 30 minutes calling we chucked it and tied up, plugged in at La Marina for $125 a night. Bad Club de Yates, bud!!
