In 2021, the first BRally Amazon took place, with the participation of 11 boats and 75 crew
members. The total journey was a thousand miles, five hundred to go, another five hundred to
come back, totaling a month on the Amazon River.

Organized by https://rumonorte.com, this Brazilian Amazon “sail together” runs October through November (about 20 days).

The rally begins on Marajo Island in the city of Soure and continues to Belem. From Belem navigate the Gulf of Marajo to the south of the island until reaching the Estreitos de Breves. The rally continues towards Gurupa, Almeirim then Prainha to Monte Alegre town. The “sail together” ends in Alter do Chao.

There is an entry fee.

The second BRally Amazon will take place in 2023.
