When we realized that our son, who has achondroplastic dwarfism, was looking back on his childhood with nostalgia mostly for doctors and hospitals, we knew we had to fill up the remainder of his childhood with something better. So we sold all our stuff, bought a stout old sailboat that needed a lot of work, lived in the boatyard for a year fixing her up, and well…we sailed away. We’re in Mexico right now, and bit by bit, we hope to explore as much of this incredible world as we can!
