A new Edition of The Panama Cruising Guide by Eric Bauhaus has been published.

This is the 4th Edition (ISBN 978-9962-00-637-4). It is a very comprehensive Guide covering Cruising Panama and the Panama Canal with many photos and maps.

I have reviewed Eric Bauhaus 4th Edition of the Panama Cruising Guide and have following comments.

Whereas the maps are very good and the photos very helpful, the text information for many areas are not up to date. Example, the information covering charges etc. for a Canal Passage is mixed up, and here I refer to the accurate up todate information on the Customer Form 4352-1 (OPTC-A) Rev. 6-2009 Procedures for securing a handline transit of the Panama Canal from The Panama Canal Authority. (Found on the Panama Canal Web-Site: www.pancanal.com ).

Regarding cruising Panama it is still the most up to date Guide but some information not current. I felt you should be advised accordingly.
