Location

Located at 56°59' N; 23°53' E, in the Gulf of Riga, just west of the city of Riga.

Docking

The town has stores, bank, pharmacy and medical services.

The inlet of river Lielupe is surrounded by shallow sand banks. There is a red leading light, but the buoyage has no lights.
