Kilifi : Profile
Kilifi is a well protected port on a creek spanned by a bridge. The bridge has a clearance of 72 ft (22 m). One must also be careful not to touch the telephone and power lines.
One can check in with Customs, although immigration formalities have to be completed in Mombasa. Apparently the Immigration Authorities do not approve of this, although they raise no objections if a captain drives immediately from Kilifi to Mombasa with the passports in order to complete immigration formalities.
