Kilifi : Profile
Kilifi is a well protected port on a creek spanned by a bridge. The bridge has a clearance of 72 ft (22 m). One must also be careful not to touch the telephone and power lines.
Check in with Customs who also act as Harbour Master, and immigration here.
If coming from Tazania, Shimoni is the more convenient place to clear in.

A full service yard with hauling-out facilities for boats up to 14 tons or 40 ft LOA, drying out grid for larger boats, engine overhauls, stainless steel welding, galvanizing arranged, mechanical and electrical services. Teak decks and carpentry workshop. Sail repairs. Secure moorings checked on an annual basis and shore storage. Lock up stores also available. Duty free importation of yacht spares can be arranged for yachts in Transit. Also a mail service, showers, bar and water.
