 Shanghai : Profile
Shanghai, is one of the world’s largest ports and is situated on a very busy river in the middle of China’s east coastline. It is a useful port for provisioning if exploring the Zhou Shan Islands in the Eastern China Sea.
There is now a berth available for foreign yachts located in the Huangpu river off the Yangzi river, at 31.15'3"N, 121.29'59"E. There is a maximum height of 49 metres.
All yachts must use the services of a local agent for all formalities (customs, immigration, quarantine and harbor master). All yachts must use a pilot. The pilot station is located at buoy S7 in the South channel in Changjiangkou. Contact them on VHF channel 69.

The foreign yacht berth is opposite the Oriental Tower and 10 min to the Bund area by taxi. Fresh water, eletricity, provisions and fuel are available.
