Clearance

There are customs reporting stations at Canoe Cove Marina, Van Isle Marina and Port Sidney Marina.

At Canoe Cove, the customs dock is at the end of C dock. Stay between the yellow marker and the dock.

At Port Sidney, the Customs Post is in a tent at the end of F dock. During the summer it is staffed by Customs Officials, but for the rest of the year, telephone reporting facilities only, are provided.

Docking

Sidney is a major boating centre on the east coast of Vancouver Island, approximately 30nm north of Victoria. There is an extensive range of boating supplies and facilities in this area.

There are several marinas and many anchorages in the vicinity of Sidney. The principal marina for the town itself, is Port Sidney Marina. The approach is between two parallel breakwaters. The channel here is narrow at low water.

Phone ahead to reserve berth. Services available include water, power, laundry, showers, fuel, gas(propane), chandlery, chart agent, fishing licences, boatyard. 35 ton travel hoist, 65 ton marine way.

Located Five minutes from BC Ferries Terminal, 10 minutes from Washington State Ferry and Victoria International Airport. Annual and monthly moorage. Marina services include gas, diesel, oil, Charts, tide tables, Ice, bait, fishing licences, Water, Coffee Bar, and washrooms. Slip sizes 20-80’, open and covered, security gates, power 15, 30, 50-amp.
