This is the only yachtsman’s pilot for the west coast of England and Wales and southwest Scotland. It covers the coast from Land s End to Portpatrick, encompassing the Bristol Channel, Milford Haven, the Menai Strait and Anglesey en route. Lundy and Irish Sea Pilot also provide pilotage for the Isle of Man. The second edition has been completely reworked – the plans have been updated and redrawn and are now in full colour. The photography has been improved by the addition of Patrick Roach’s aerial photographs of the main harbours as well as sea level sketches of entrances.
