Gustavia : Profile
The Port Authority should be contacted on Channel 12 two hours prior to arrival. Yachts anchor or moor in the pleasure port in the centre of town, separate from the commercial harbour. Proceed ashore to the Port Captain's office with papers and passports. Third party insurance is occasionally requested.
If staying 24hrs, clearing in and out can be completed at the same time.

Between 1800 and 0600 the VHF radio calls will be answered by the Sapeurs Pompiers (Fire & Rescue Service).
This is a well procteded harbour but in winter can be subject to some swell.
Boats either come stern-to the two yacht quays (electricity available), on a mooring in the inner harbour or at anchor in the outer harbour. There is water, showers, toilets and garbage disposal at the yacht dock.
