Haugesund : Profile
This small, vibrant city lies on Norway's Southwest coast about 100km south of Bergen. It is a major fishing and processing centre for herring, mackerel, and lobster
The harbour is right in the centre of the town and is very popular, especially during the film, jazz and Viking Boat festivals held here each year.
Visitors berth on the stone quay, avoiding those areas reserved for the ferries and commercial boats.
Kopervik (S of Haugesund) A well sheltered, summer only, harbour with a boarded quay. Water and electricity.
