Budva : Profile

Location

A popular tourist centre with an attractive old town, sitting on a peninsular, and with excellent beaches. It lies approximately 15NM NW of Bar.

Position 42°16'N, 18°50'E.

Clearance

For checking in, tie up at the Customs dock and report to the Port Police and then Customs.

Note - Customs and the Harbour Master only work 10am to 12noon and they insist that the boat be at the Customs dock (even though there may not be room!).

Position 42°16.748'N, 18°50.345'E. Depth 3.5m. Alongside berthing.

Docking

The harbour is in the western corner of the large bay fronting the town. It is composed of a marina and a town quay; both operated by the marina. Mooring is med-style and expensive.

It is possible to anchor off the town, but the bay is open to the south, although the holding is good.
