Baltimore : Profile
This is a harbour on the SW coast, just east of the Fastnet Rock. Its entrance is marked by the distinctive Baltimore Beacon, also known as Lot's Wife.
This large harbour, with the village of Baltimore on the eastern shore, provides excellent shelter and access in all conditions, but pilotage within the harbour needs care. There are several anchorages, but the only pontoon berths have restricted depth or dry out at LW.
Showers are available for sailors at Bushes Bar, the Baltimore Sailing Club, or Glenans Sailing Club.
