West Island : Profile
Lying south west of Home Island, West Island is the capital of Cocos Keeling although it is the lest populated on the islands (less than 150 people). It has the Government Buildings and the airport.

The Cocos Club (located next to the airport), West Island Tel:+61 8 9162 6688 Opening Hours: 7 days a week. Duty free alcohol and takeaways are available. Drop in for a chat. Club 'food nights' are advertised on the blackboard and all visitors are welcome.
