Madalena : Profile

Location

Though the majority of cruisers visit Pico by ferry from Horta, the number of visiting yachts is increasing. With its striking mountain peak, the obvious excursion here is to the top with spectacular views. The Island also has whaling museums and wineries.

Docking

Visiting yachts usually anchor, as the docking space is limited and used by ferries and fishing boats.
