Hijacked yacht Armageddon

16.02.2014: 0445 LT

Posn: Gulf of Roccapina, off SW Corsica, Mediterranean.

Four hooded gunmen attacked French luxury motor yacht (ARMAGEDDON).

There were three persons on board – the owner, his wife and a friend. They were locked by the offenders in the cabin, and several hours later forced to leave the yacht on a life boat. They reached the shore near the tiny village of Campomoro, which is north of where they were attacked, at around midnight and raised the alarm. French police launched a search and investigation.

Yachtsmen weren’t hurt.

The vessel is valued in the region of 1 million Euro.

The hijacked vessel can only travel a slow 8 knots. It is also highly noticeable because of its modern shape, brushed raw aluminum hull, and its red mainsail. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of this vessel, please contact [email protected] or call +33 (0)2.31.69.03.92.
