Balearics, Ibiza: A warm welcome at Club Nautic de San Antoni

We received a very warm welcome here.

The marina has undergone considerable renovation and development in the last couple of years and now has 578 berths.

Prices: for 11.8-metre yacht per night:

May & Oct – €25;

June & Sept – 55€;

July & Aug – €90.

Reservations: 

Can be made on the web through www.amarreibiza.com except in August. Space is very limited in July. In August a waiting system operates: call after 0900 to get on the waiting list; places are allocated and called back after 1200.

Short stay: Call Ch 11 for short stay of up to 2 hours for water and electricity. Cost €9 for 30 mins.

Facilities:

– Water on the pontoons is drinkable

– Pump out available

– Free wifi – though not working when we visited on 2 May 2013 – wifi also at the bar by the entrance.

– 20-tonne travel hoist

– Small restaurant/bar by the entrance. A new, larger one will open on 17 May 2013.

Other berths in San Antoni

Port IB moorings San Antonio, Ibiza (run by the Isla Baleares harbour authority)

Only 16 moorings available for 12-metre yachts. Cost €45 per night June to Sept.

Book through the Ports IB website www.portsib.es. Need to register first on the website. This can be a problem or impossible using Internet Explorer but works well on Mozilla / Firefox. Need to attach a scanned copy of the ship’s registration to the form.

General:

A pleasant spot in May before the main season and no noise from nightclubs etc. at this time.
