San Juan Puerto Rico Update for Noonsite Wapiti March 2015

Anchorage is available in the San Antonio channel between the marinas and the ship turning area. The area is quite limited. A wreck has been reported near the turning area at 18deg 27’57 N 66deg 05’64 W

Dinghies can be left at the marina for a fee of $5 per day.

Buses run frequently to town from the nearby bus stop. Buses also run to Plaza Las Americas, a huge shopping complex. West marine is nearby but in spite of its name has quite a limited selection.

There is a good Pueblo supermarket within walking distance of the marina.
