Vilamoura - General Info
Description:
This purpose-built resort town and marina lies about 10nm east of Albufeira. It is a popular stop for those setting off across the Atlantic or for anyone wishing to leave the boat in a secure port for a while.
It does get very busy in the summer but is much slower in the winter. Situated close to Faro airport, and surrounded by sandy beaches and low rise coastline. The marina has a well-equipped boatyard.
