The Yacht Club Peruano is the best-maintained in Lima, and is located on the north side of the peninsula on Playa Cantolao at the "beach end" of town. The Club has a large mooring field, or it's possible to drop your own anchor off the Club.
The moorings here are a little rolly (the mooring field is open to the north), but the area is safe. It is advisable to check the mooring buoy for strength.
The Club is very welcoming to visiting yachts and can assist with clearance as well as local knowledge.
The Club house has a two-level restaurant with beautiful views, plus bathrooms with hot showers for visiting sailors. There is a 24hr water-taxi service, plus water, fuel and a travelift. There is an excellent bakery next door to the Club.
