Petit Martinique - General Info
Description:
Lying less than half a mile south of Petit St Vincent (PSV), Petite Martinique (PM) is a mirror image of its smaller neighbour but a completely different visitor-experience. Whereas PSV is out of bounds for visiting yachts as it is an all-inclusive luxury resort, PM is not at all touristy with a friendly and welcoming local population who survive on boat building and fishing.
PM is the most north-eastern island of Grenada and one of the original Caribbean Spice Islands.
There are several shops ashore and one restaurant.
Note: Petit St. Vincent is owned by an all-inclusive resort, and while yachts can anchor there, the resort make a charge of US$100 per person for landing (and using the bar/restaurant).
