Not many places have docks where electricity is available.

Fuel

Fuel is reported to be available at Aasiaat and Qaqortoq.

Water

Many harbours have showers and laundry facilities, often in the local seaman’s mission.

Danish krone (Dkr) of 100 ore.

There are ATMs but many are inside and are closed from 18:00 to 06:00.

Credit cards are accepted but cash is more useful in remote places.

Communications

International Dialing Code for Greenland is +299.

Mobile roaming agreements exist but coverage is limited to the main towns. Handsets can be hired at TELE Greenland shops (in all cities). A deposit is required. Roaming agreements exist with some international mobile phone companies.

There are no public phone boxes.

Internet cafes in the towns and some libraries.

Post office hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-15:00. Greenland produces its own stamps which are popular among collectors. Post from Greenland takes about four to five days to reach Europe.
