La Grande Motte - General Info
Description:
This is the site of one of the three large marinas in this part of the Gulfe du Lyon. It lies about 6nm est of Carnon-Plage and about 40nm northeast of Sete. The distinctive, pyramid design of its tall apartment blocks makes it easy to identify from seaward. It is one of France’s most popular tourist resorts with it 7 miles of fine sandy beaches and its many green parks.

Appalling non service from U Ship marine engineers.
Left my boat for 6 weeks and they promised to remove my 9.8 Tohatsu outboard from my cat’ and fix broken engine lock down catch. Sent several emails asking about progress which they stopped answering (because nothing done). Finally called and again they promised to do the work.Finally after 4 weeks they said they did not have time to do the job and did not realise the engine was fixed to the boat. This is just 2 bolts!!! Obviously beyond their engineering capability.
