Anguilla - Documents
Necessary Documents for Anguilla
Cruisers should arrive with the standard documents.
- Clearance from your last port of call (exit zarpe)
- Valid Passport for each crew member / passenger
- Vessel registration documents: Vessel title and Proof of ownership
- Crew List(s)
- Cruising Permit, if required (see below)
Cruising Permit
All yachts must pay for a cruising permit if they want to visit areas outside Road Bay and enjoy the use of the National Park.
Cruising Permits are issued by the Customs Officer after clearing in, upon request, for any yacht wishing to cruise to different areas around Anguilla. Vessels wishing to stay in Road Bay do not need a Cruising Permit.
The fee is based on the yacht’s tonnage and is charged by the day, week, month, or three months. It is possible to leave your yacht in Road Bay and obtain a cruising permit for the dinghy to travel outside of Road Bay at a lower cost, if desired.
See the cruising permit fees here. Note: All Fees are in EC.
A cruising permit is valid from 9:00 a.m. on the date the permit is issued until midnight on the date the permit expires.
There are mooring buoys in marine parks. The fee for their use is included in the cruising permit. These buoys are white and designed to take boats up to 65 feet (20M). Moorings are DAY USE ONLY (06:00 until 19:00 daily).
See this useful Marine Park Regulations brochure for more information about the mooring buoys and anchoring restrictions.

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Wondering if the listed cruising permit costs for Anguilla are in EC or US dollars. One week permit cost listed is 1125 for 5 to 20 tons. If in US dollars this would be $416.66. Big difference.
Hi Stephen!
The cruising permit fees for Anguilla are in EC. I’ve updated Noonsite to add clarity and provided a link to the brochure about the National Park – https://naturalresources.gov.ai/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/NEW-MPA-Brochure.pdf.
Great question and we hope this helps others when using Noonsite.
Kind regards,
