Confusion in the San Blas Islands

There appears to have been some confusion of late, amongst cruising sailors regarding a resolution recently passed by the Kuna Indians, restricting the movements of yachts in the San Blas area.

However, visiting cruising yachtsmen are not to worry, as the resolution only applies to charter yachts. From the wording, it would appear to apply only to local charter operations.

To date, the normal charges for visiting yachtsmen only apply.
