The Caribbean Safety and Security Net provide information by anchorage or by island, so sailors can plan their cruising in the Caribbean with an eye to appropriate behavior and precautions wherever they decide to go.

The CSSN website is the most comprehensive source of Caribbean security incidents against sailors. Remember, it is every cruiser’s responsibility to ensure that incidents are reported.

Report an Incident: Should you have suffered a boarding, robbery or attack on your yacht or have information about a yachting-related security incident, go to the CSSN homepage and click on the “Report an Incident” icon. The associated form is quick and simple to complete and ensures that all the necessary details are reported.

Subscribe to CSSNs e-mail alerts, or follow them on facebook and twitter.

SSCA “KPK” Radio Service partners with CSSN to broadcast latest security incidents and collect security reports from their listeners. This Net follows the Coconut Telegraph Net at 1215 hours UTC (0715 EST or 0815 AST) on SSB frequency 8.104, broadcasting to the entire Caribbean up to Maine with news and current events from around the Caribbean, Bahamas, and East Coast of the US.
