Operated by the Parks Department Marina Division. Located in the heart of Manhattan offering dock space and mooring balls (although mooring balls are prohibited for catamarans – new policy 2012). With a dinghy it is possible to get ashore and use the showers, the washing machine and drier. Water, pumpout facility, visitors’ berths.

Note: 

The 79th Street Boat Basin marina is currently closed. No vessel dockage, moorage, anchorage or launch services are available. The marina will be dredged and reconstructed to modern codes and standards. The marina is anticipated to reopen in 2025. Related inquiries may be sent to [email protected]
