I arrived to this Marina not by choice as I was experiencing engine problems in my boat at the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting me in and finding me a mechanic, who actually really knew his trade and did an excellent job, but had to stay six consecutive days till the problem was solved. I found the marina to be, not only expensive compared with Ragusa and Licata in Sicily, which are fabulous, but very sub standard. The dock for the boats on transit is falling apart and the dock wall is so low that on high tide the fenders are just left floating about, not giving your topsides any realp protection at all. The marina is noisy from early hours till late at night, the toilets and showers are in an old and rusty container type of thing and there is a nasty smell of sewage about the place. Bring your own toilet paper seems to be the policy. If like me you need technical help and in need to dock somewhere, then fair enough, but otherwise I would give this place a wide berth.
