Full-fledged marina with electricity (extra) and water on the dock, showers and toilets (24 hours) at the new clubhouse, WiFi. Maximum size 20 tons and 54 ft for visiting yachts. Visitors pay a small fee to become temporary club members in order to rent a berth and use club facilities. If planning a long stay, becoming a full member may be cheaper. Contact the marina office for more details.

The Club welcomes visiting cruisers and the staff in the office are a helpful source of local information. Full secretarial services, the holding of mail, fax etc. Fair rates, good security (though take the usual precautions).

Hout Bay Harbor Entrance is at S34 03.070 E18 20.983.

On Arrival yachts should proceed to their allocated mooring as arranged with the Marina Manager. If in doubt tie up in any vacant berth on the South Side of the Southern Walk-on jetty and contact the marina manager at the earliest opportunity. All yachts must sign their vessel in and out in the yacht club register at the Marina shed.

Hout Bay does not have an emergency buoy for tying up on.
