This is a well-established working boatyard with good facilities which now has pontoons for yachts looking for a wet berth: 100-ton travel hoist, fuel, chandlery, showers, toilets, Wi-Fi, power and water on the pontoon, plus proximity to the city and international airport. Security reported being excellent. English is spoken. Competitive rate for the Adriatic for repair work and/or overwintering.
Note: owners not permitted to live or work on the boat when it is on the hard. The yard closed from August 8-September 5th (their month of a holiday).

We have left our boat with M.Ranieri at the end of august until next july 2020. So far we have had a warm welcome : he was expecting us and led us to our place as soon as we arrived, explained everything to us, arranged for the sail maker to come and see to the repairs we needed. The ship yard was closed until begining of september and we will go back during the winter to discuss repairs with them. However we had new hatches on board ready to be put into place and they have done it quickly and efficiently.
The marina is about 3.4 km from city centre but easy to reach by bike. Taxis are also available by phone (number given by M.Ranieri).
Thus so far so good and I will let you know later how things developped and if we are as happy with the yard as we have been so far.
