Unless you have an air draft of less than 14m and can dry out, pick up a fore and aft visitor’s mooring below the road bridge and dinghy up to the town quay. Beware of the huge tidal range. Even if your dinghy is still afloat, it may be impossible to reach! An interesting town and worth the trip up the river.
