Attractiveness: Very well protected bay surrounded by lush hillls and mangrove. Several small rivers run into bay. Three villages and a small shop/trading post. Ferry to and from Suva lands here.
Holding: Very good in mud.
Comfort: Good. Peaceful bay with several anchoring options.
Protection: Very good except for N to NW winds which would enter bay (in this case anchorage off Kavala village could be protected). Excellent place to be for southerly change or reinforced tradewinds.
