Attractiveness: Reasonably nice anchorage area. Water seems clean enough for swimming and sometimes even clear enough to snorkel coral heads. Water was very warm.
Holding: Seems good in sand between coral and weed areas.
Comfort: Can get very rough in strong N and W sector winds. Long fetch across lagoon allows waves to build.
Protection: Classic atoll situation. Very good protection near windward reef, but can evenm become untennable if on lee side of lagoon. It is understood that alternative anchorages can be found in these conditions, but need to be approached in good conditions.
