Wonderful scenic anchorage with not so good holding and really only suitable in settled weather, it is open to the strong NW winds that prevail in this area. Several taverna’s and some basic shopping ashore. When we were last there in 2019 we were eaten alive by the mosquitos at night. That said a place worth a visit.
We visited with a rental car from Sami in Aug 2020. The small beach is very cool spot and has a sea cave that you can swim all the way through, then walk out of on a different side. The fortress above is a very long rambling walk from town, and (in hindsight seeing alot of other Venetian forts now..) not as interesting as Corfu or the forts in Malta or some other more well-maintained sites.
