An update on the chandlery in Oban:

Following several years of decline and reducing stock variety and availability the renowned Oban chandlery Nancy Blacks have recently changed hands.

The new owners Sean and Karina Jameson have restocked the chandlery to a good level and pride themselves in having what sailors need. If they don’t, they undertake to get stock at RRP through their suppliers; they also offer a service for remote ordering for local next day delivery (for in-stock items), or for collection on passing through Oban.

Both useful services when cruising the remote Western Isles.
