All the rallies listed on this page are well established events, or those that have been recommended by cruisers who use noonsite. All rallies have a printed cancellation policy on the application form. In order to avoid disappointment regarding loss of funds, be sure to read the small print and understand 100% the rally's refund policy should you have to withdraw.

Northern Europe

ARC Baltic
Join a 1,800nm voyage of discovery through Europe’s “east sea”, combining social cruising with exploring the Baltic’s fascinating culture and history ashore. The individual rally legs are short, one to two days, breaking the journey to Russia, before relaxed cruising in the beautiful Finnish and Swedish archipelagos.  From Rostock, Germany to Kalmar, Sweden. July/August (every 2 years, next in 2019), duration six weeks. 

ARC Channel Islands
Whether you are a seasoned rallier or a first-timer, ARC Channel Islands is an enjoyable way to grow your cruising confidence. The event offers the camaraderie and support of an organised rally, crossing the Channel in company, and visiting the Channel Islands. Shore-side socials and tours make it an enjoyable family holiday. The rally runs on alternate years starting from the Solent, the next being in 2019. August, duration 1 week with day sails and one overnight sail.

ARC Portugal

Cross the Bay of Biscay in company then day sailing the coast of Portugal to finish in the Algarve in time for the Mediterranean season. Setting off from Plymouth UK, in early June, arriving in Lagos three and a half weeks later. Each destination includes a social programme and sightseeing tours, making the rally an ideal holiday adventure.  From Plymouth, UK to Marina de Lagos, Portugal. June, duration 4 weeks; longest stage is 4-5 days across Biscay.

North America

ARC DelMarVa
ARC DelMarVa provides an opportunity for Chesapeake Bay sailors to enjoy a fun sail in company around the DelMarVa Peninsula, whilst benefiting from the skills and experience of other sailors for the offshore passage.   The route is sailed counter-clockwise, starting and finishing in Annapolis, MD.  June, duration 7 days. 

Atlantic/Caribbean

ARC - Atlantic Rally for Cruisers

The ARC is a fun rally for cruising yachts, and the world’s largest transocean sailing event. Every year the ARC brings together over 225 yachts from many nations, following the classic tradewind route from Europe to the Caribbean. With a full schedule of social events and seminars in Las Palmas and parties on arrival in Saint Lucia, the ARC has a unique atmosphere that combines cruisers and racers, old with young, and provides something for everyone.  November/December, duration 17-21 days sailing directly from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia.

Cruise across the Atlantic from west to east at the end of the Caribbean sailing season. Join yachts returning to Europe, as well as North American yachts starting a summer cruise to Europe. The Caribbean and USA fleets meet in Bermuda before crossing to the Azores and finishing in Lagos, Portugal. A true taste of Atlantic Islands cruising.  Starts from Nanny Cay, BVI; Portsmouth USA  May/June, duration 6 weeks. Longest stage is 14-16 days Bermuda to Azores.

Sailing in company combines the best blue water cruising experience with complete peace of mind and support along the route. Starts from Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia or Darwin, Australia. January, duration from Saint Lucia back to Saint Lucia 15 months. If starting and finishing in Europe or North America duration is 24 months minimum. 

ARC USA

The fun way to cruise to the US east coast at the end of the Caribbean season. It runs alongside ARC Europe to Bermuda, before pausing to cross the Gulf Stream on a favorable forecast.   From Nanny Cay, Tortola BVI to St George’s Bermuda then US East Coast, or from Tortola to Fort Lauderdale via the Old Bahama Channel.  May, duration 5-7 days for BVI to Bermuda, then 4-6 days Bermuda to Portsmouth; 5-7 days for BVI to Florida. 

ARC +
ARC+ offers an alternative route choice from Gran Canaria to the Caribbean sailing via the Cape Verde archipelago. The islands are ideally placed for boats to sail ‘south until the butter melts’ and the route includes a 3 to 5 day stopover at Mindelo, São Vicente providing crews with an opportunity to discover the enchanting local culture, lively nightlife and bustling food markets that make the Cape Verde islands a fascinating destination in their own right.  ARC+ crews enjoy a week long programme of activities in Las Palmas, tours and socials in Cape Verde, and a warm welcome on arrival in the Caribbean. November/December, duration 5-7 days to Mindelo, and 12-16 days to the Caribbean.

The longest-running offshore sailboat rally in the Americas, ARC Caribbean 1500 is a fun and convivial way to sail south to the Caribbean. With full support and social program in Portsmouth, joining the rally is popular with first-time offshore cruisers and return ralliers.  From Portsmouth VA to Nanny Cay, Tortola BVI or Marsh Harbor, Bahamas  November, duration 6-10 days for Portsmouth to Tortola; 4-7 days for Portsmouth to Abacos.

Grenada Sailing Week

Grenada’s only International Regatta attracts boats from near and far and kicks off the racing season in the Caribbean. Runs over 5 days and includes a Lay Day. Normally starts end of January.

Salty DAWG Cuba Rally
Annual spring and fall rallies between the Caribbean and the US. Also running rallies to Maine, Nova Scotia, and Cuba.

Central America

Panama Posse Rally
Starts on Nov.30, 2018 from Barra de Navidad, Mexico, sails to seven countries including Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and finishes at the Panama Canal at the end of May 2019. You can join rally with over 80 vessels, anytime and any place along the way. Nominal registration fee.

Mediterranean

Culture Cruise & Sailing - Round Sicily Rally

A three week cruise circumnavigating Sicily and its islands, departing June 2019, starting in Licata and ending in Marsala. Rally comprises 600+ NM at sea plus several land visits and cultural tours. Up to 25 boats and 120 crew.
