Last year I sent you a copy of my article on cruising in Western France.

During summer 2012 we sailed our boat from Arzal in western France to Lisbon, so I have produced a similar article covering that area. It’s a bit of an epic I’m afraid but we had a great time and there is much to see and do on the passage south.

It is split into specific areas:

• Western France to the Spanish border, including crossing the Landes firing range.
• North coast of Spain to Finisterre.
• The Southern Rias.
• The Portuguese coast to Lisbon.
• Lisbon, River Tagus and wintering in and around Lisbon.
