Fuel:
Fuel berths are available at Świnoujście, Łeba, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Szczecin, Trzebież, Stepnica,
Dziwnów, Kołobrzeg and Puck.
There is no marine diesel here and fuel here contains up to 7% bio-additives.
LPG:
Bottles cannot be refilled. Exchange only. The common valve thread in Poland is 3/8”.
Various types and sizes are available at road-side fuel stations.
Docking:
Mooring is mostly in marinas/harbors. There are no mooring buoys in Poland. Anchoring is possible outside of channels and harbor approaches, but there is lack of shelter on this coast. In marinas/harbors yacht crew are expected to keep quiet after 2200. Rafting out is customary, although always ask permission first and fender well.
Navigation:
Entry to Polish sea harbours (other than Świnoujście and those in Gdansk Bay) can be dangerous in strong onshore winds (F5 and above). It is best to call the harbour master and enquire about conditions, traffic, depths, etc before entering.
All Hydrographic Office of the Polish Navy (HOPN) charts of the Polish coast are electronically available and updated weekly in OpenCPN format (oeSENC) at the following website: https://o-charts.org/. Paper charts can be obtained from chandleries near the major marinas.
Wind farms are planned on the Słupska Bank. Construction areas will be marked on charts prior to work commencing.
Repairs:
There are good repair facilities and workers in Poland, ask the marina for recommendations. Sailmakers can be found in Gdańsk, Gdynia and Szczecin.

Along the polish coast there is a large number of military shooting ranges, which are mapped as forbidden areas. These areas however are only forbidden during exercises. Internet site https://bhmw.gov.pl/en/warnings/current/ has a map of the military activities and other navigational warnings. Additionally a PDF can be downloaded for each area with the dates the area is closed. The PDF is in Polish and English
Does anyone know if it is possible to sail from Krakow to the Baltic Sea?

Just four miles S from Dziwnow breakwater and bridge which opens any even hour. Follow the buoyed channel which is 2m deep.
Marina Kamien Pomorski is one of the biggest and most modern marinas in Poland.
