Electricity:

  • Voltage: 220 V
  • Frequency: 50 Hz

Fuel:

There is a fuel berth at Klaipeda Cruise Terminal harbor (next to the Old Castle Harbor). The diesel contains biodiesel. Gasoline (Benzin).

The only pump-out station is in Smiltyne harbor.

LPG:

Butane is available in Klaipeda.

Propane bottles are available from special gas stations.

Flag Etiquette:

Ensign is taken down at sunset, no later than 2100 and hoisted at sunrise – not earlier than 0800.

Times of hoisting and taking down one’s own ensign/flag are not strict but treated as matter of dignity.

Guests are expected to fly a courtesy flag under starboard spreader 24 hours a day from entering until departure from territorial waters of Lithuania.

Docking:

Winter storage is possible in Klaipeda Old Castle Harbour, Smiltyne and Nida with prior agreement with the harbour master.

Repair and maintenance facilities are available in Old City Harbor.

Anchoring off the coast of Lithuania is untenable in most places, but not officially
forbidden. Anchoring in the Curonian Lagoon is not forbidden outside of the waterway.

In Lithuanian harbors quiet after 23:00 is expected.

If there are no vacant berths, it is common practice to lie alongside another boat. It is courteous to ask permission before tying alongside, but this should never be refused unless the maximum number of boats permitted to raft out in a particular harbor has been reached or a heavier boat wishes to lie alongside a smaller boat.
