Alongside in Little Crabby Bay, Braye. Fuel berths at St Peter Port and Beaucette (Guernsey), St Helier (Jersey) Fuel in Gorey and St Aulbin's Harbours (Jersey).

Gas bottle exchange at all the chandleries.

The is a 25 ton crane at Braye.

The Channel Islands also have their own notes also in circulation.

Whilst the Channel Islands are outside of the VAT area, there is a GST ("Goods and Services Tax"), which is currently (June 2017) at 5%. This also applies to items purchased elsewhere (i.e., online) and couriered in to the Channel Islands. It is possible to get a GST refund if leaving on a regularly scheduled flight through an airport: keep good documentation and receipts of purchases.

Communications

International dialing code for Channel Islands is +44.

Mobile phones work throughout the country; the network operators use GSM 1800 networks, which may not be compatible with some dual-band US cell phones.

Internet cafes are available in major towns and cities, train stations and airports.

French Search and Rescue (SAR) is coordinated by CROSS centres. 24/7 watch on VHF Channel 16.
