NO OTHER website offers such a comprehensive world-wide data-base of port facilities and services. Our goal is to provide information on services for ALL ports in the world visited by cruising sailors, and to this end our data is constantly being updated and expanded.
This service is entirely free to users, and there is no intrusive advertising, such as
banner advertisements or pop-up windows. The remarkable success of
noonsite is undoubtedly due to its non-commercial nature, a factor that
has been favourably commented on by countless visitors.

Why Sponsor Noonsite?
All reputable companies providing services to yachts are listed on Noonsite for free. Companies that would like a more prominent entry on Noonsite, with the chance to provide more detail about their services, even their own Noonsite webpage, can take out an annual sponsorship.
Cruising sailors are increasingly relying on Noonsite before arriving in a port as to what docking, repair facilities, leisure activities and local attractions, etc are available. Taking out a Noonsite Sponsorship helps companies to let those sailors know they exist! We can tailor descriptive text to include keywords that will guarantee results on the Noonsite search engine. Thanks to our unique email retrieval feature, yachts with onboard email systems can retrieve all Noonsite data anywhere, anytime, without the need to rely on access to the internet.
The increasing number of hits also reflect that a lot of non-sailors are now consulting Noonsite. Many of the islands and ports listed on Noonsite have little or no internet presence, meaning that Noonsite scores highly on internet search engines, with visits from people interested in a whole range of information, whether cruise ship passengers, other regular tourists, and even those interested in taking up permanent residence (as shown by the number of queries we receive on this subject).
Noonsite has no public funding or other income, and the support of our sponsors is crucial for Noonsite to continue to provide an invaluable service to the international yachting community. If you would like to help support Noonsite and allow us to expand our services in the future, details of the various sponsorship options are listed below.
Silver Super Silver

Platinum Super Platinum
Silver
A box display lists the company details as well as a descriptive text of maximum 50 words. Example:
The box is featured on the relevant Port or General page.
All Silvers listed on the General pages are offered one additional free entry on a Port page (e.g. A charter company listed on the Charter page also has an entry on its home port page).
If any category on a Port page (e.g. Boatyard, Marine Supplies) includes a paying entry, all free listings will automatically be hidden and a link will appear: [Show additional entries for this category] on which one has to click to show all entries.
Super Silver
Same display as a Silver with the possibility of multiple listings in several ports and on the General page.
The following example appears under Electrics & Electronics on the Phuket, Thailand pages as well as Koh Samui, Thailand and Langkawi, Malaysia.
Gold
This option is for a separate page on Noonsite. Gold displays are listed above all other companies in their category, for example Marine Supplies, and the company is also listed separately on the Noonsite sidebar. The Gold page contains:
~ The company logo
~ Full company details
~ Descriptive text
~ Additional company/agency logos and/or photos
Example:
Platinum
Companies that wish to sponsor an entire country will have their logo displayed prominently on every page of the sponsored country, as well as a link to the company's own website, and a short descriptive text, if desired.
Example: http://www.noonsite.com/Countries/CanaryIslands
This is the Tourism Board of Gran Canaria sponsoring all entries in the seven islands of the Canarian archipelago.
General pages are also available for sponsorship.
Super Platinum
This is a multiple sponsorship of several countries in one region. The sponsoring company's logo and details appear on each of the sponsored pages. If desired, a Silver listing will be included in one key port per country.
For example, see
http://www.noonsite.com/Countries/China Seahorse Marine boatbuilders are based in Zhuhai (China) and are sponsoring a number of countries in their region (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Guam and Hawaii), and have recently expanded their sponsorship to include Canada, the United States and several Caribbean countries.

Let me say how much I have appreciated the Noonsite Web Page. I have referred to it many times over the past several years and view it as the first Internet site to consult when planning our continuing world cruise. Hugh Bacon, ARGONAUTA I
WOW - everything a cruising sailor would want to know is at their keyboard fingertips with your website. As someone preparing for an extended 18 - 24 month voyage. I have spent many hours to date and will be spending many more, bringing myself up to date on everything pertaining to our expected route: descriptions on entry to ports, facilities in each, the procedures to clear in & out, the latest news etc. I was wondering how I could access this information on the boat without having access to the web. My answer came when I discovered your email service which will be a godsend when I am cruising and I may have forgotten to print something out before I leave. Congratulations to all at Noonsite - an invaluable tool for the cruising sailor. TONY ROBERTS
